Global ID Photo Compliance
Last updated: 1 July 2026
DV Green Pass supports the documented photo specifications of many countries, and the catalogue keeps growing.
How our specifications are set
- Each document profile (dimensions, head-size ratio, background) is based on the publicly documented requirements of the issuing authority and, where relevant, the ICAO Doc 9303 standard.
- Most passports and visas follow the 35×45 mm ICAO format (head ≈ 32–36 mm); the United States uses 2×2 in (600×600 px); some countries use their own sizes (e.g. Canada 50×70 mm, China 33×48 mm, Turkey 50×60 mm).
Currently supported: 70+ documents across 60+ countries (growing)
United States (DV / Passport / Visa), Schengen, United Kingdom, and most of Europe (Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, Portugal, Greece, the Nordics, Poland, Czechia, Hungary, Romania, the Baltics, Switzerland, Ireland, Ukraine, Russia, Serbia and more); Asia & Oceania (Japan, South Korea, India, China, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines, Singapore, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Australia, New Zealand); the Middle East & Africa (Turkey, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Iran, Iraq, Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria, Nigeria, Kenya, South Africa, Ghana, Ethiopia); and Canada (Passport & Visa) — with more added regularly.
