Privacy Policy

Last updated: 1 July 2026

DV Green Pass ("we", "the Service") helps you prepare compliant passport, visa and DV Green Card photos. Protecting your data — especially your face image — is central to how we built the Service.

1. Photos are not stored on our server

When you submit a photo, it is processed statelessly: the image is held in memory only for the seconds needed to crop, align, whiten the background and run the compliance checks, then discarded after the response is returned. We do not keep your uploaded or processed photos on our servers, and we do not use your photos to train AI models.

2. On-device history

If you use our mobile app, any saved results (image + report) are kept only on your device (local storage). They are never uploaded to us. You can delete them at any time from the History screen.

3. Metadata (EXIF)

The photo we return to you has its EXIF metadata (such as location and device information) stripped, both for your privacy and to avoid "digitally altered" flags.

4. Email you provide

If you join our launch list, we store the email address you submit for one purpose: to send you launch updates and offers. We do not sell it or share it with advertisers. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

5. Cookies & local storage

The website and app store small preferences on your device (language, server address, onboarding state, on-device history). We do not use third-party advertising trackers. See our Cookie Policy.

6. Biometric data

Your face is biometric personal data. We treat it with GDPR/KVKK-level care: minimal processing, no retention on our servers, and no secondary use. See our EU Data Protection page.

7. Your rights

8. Contact

For any privacy request, contact us at [your-contact-email].

This policy describes the Service's actual data practices. Before public launch, complete the bracketed details (legal entity, contact email, jurisdiction) and have it reviewed by qualified counsel for your operating region.
